Welcome, I'm Yvonne. I'm on a passionate journey to educate and empower couples and individuals to enable them learn to safeguard their family's future with the incredible tools of life insurance.
I am just your average gal. I proudly answer to "wife" and "mom" – a mom to four exceptional kids (ages 23, 21, 19 and 12), hardly kids. I am also a licensed life insurance agent and health care professional.
When I'm not crunching numbers and chatting about policies, you'll usually find me in the kitchen, whipping up some seriously savory meals. I'm all about that foodie life. And staying healthy is a big deal for me too. Gotta balance out those scrumptious dishes!
Speaking of balance, my family and I are big on working out and playing tennis together. It's a great way to bond and stay active.
Let's rewind a bit. You know those nights when worries nudge you awake? That was me. Despite the comfort of a dual-income setup, I couldn't shake off the haunting question: What if life throws a curveball, leaving my husband or me unable to provide for our kids? Yes, we had life insurance, but it was tied to a group plan gifted by my employer.
But life is unpredictable. A move of over 2000 miles out West ushered in a new chapter, and my resignation from my job came with assumptions about my former employer's life insurance still being in play. Reality hit like a truck – that coverage was no more.
Reinstating it meant paying a much steeper price, which opened my eyes to the urgent need for expert guidance. The pursuit of that guidance reshaped everything.
Enter the guiding light – a financial mentor who unraveled paths we hadn't considered. With their insights, my husband and I crafted a robust life insurance strategy.
Today, I stand inspired by the profound difference it makes, the assurance that our family's dreams are secure even amidst life's twists. This experience encouraged me to become a life insurance agent to help families like mine to protect what matters.
So yeah, that's a little peek into my world. It's nice to meet you!
